REPRESENTATIVE CASES

  • In re Foreign Exchange Benchmark Rates Antitrust Litigation, No. 13-cv-7789 (S.D.N.Y.): obtained preliminary approval of over $2 billion in proposed settlements on behalf of investors alleging collusion and manipulation in the FX market against 16 global financial institutions
  • Axiom Investment Advisors v. Barclays Bank PLC and Barclays Capital Inc., No. 15-cv-9323 (S.D.N.Y.): obtained $50 million settlement on behalf of a class of investors alleging breach of contract claims arising from Barclays’ alleged use of “last look” in its algorithmic e-FX execution practices
  • Dahl v. Bain Capital Partners, LLC, No. 07-cv-12388 (D. Mass): obtained $590.5 million settlement recovery on behalf of a class of investors who sold shares to private equity firms in leveraged buyouts
  • Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Antitrust Litigation, MDL No. 1720 (E.D.N.Y.): represented merchants alleging anticompetitive conduct by Visa, MasterCard, and major banks in their payment card acceptance prices and practices
  • Ross v. Bank of America N.A., No. 05-cv-7116, MDL No. 1409 (S.D.N.Y.) and Ross v. American Express Co., No. 04-cv-5723, MDL No. 1409 (S.D.N.Y): represented certified classes of cardholders in antitrust cases challenging class action-banning arbitration clauses in credit card agreements as restraints of trade
