LastPass 2022 Data Breach

Scott+Scott intends to bring a class action on behalf of anyone whose personal information may have been compromised as a result of the data breach at LastPass in August 2022. The company’s failure to prevent the breach resulted in hackers successfully accessing users’ password vaults. LastPass failed to implement basic security practices required to prevent the breach and failed to communicate the severity of the data breach to affected users. The highly sensitive information that was hacked potentially affects millions of LastPass users and could result in the total compromise of any accounts associated with login information stored in LastPass. If you suspect that any accounts you saved in LastPass may have been accessed without your permission since the August data breach, you might qualify to participate in this lawsuit against LastPass.
