Bio
Cameron R. Cano is a Partner at Scott+Scott who represents individuals and families that have suffered catastrophic injuries in complex litigation and mass tort cases.
Mr. Cano’s practice rests on a straightforward conviction: a client’s outcome turns on whether their lawyer is genuinely prepared to try the case. That belief has shaped his career from the outset — Mr. Cano tried his first jury trial on his first day as a licensed attorney, and he has been trying cases ever since, across defective medical devices, personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, medical malpractice, and commercial disputes. Much of his practice today centers on defective medical devices.
In his community, Mr. Cano volunteers as a Local Representative for the Texas Lawyers’ Assistance Program, supporting legal professionals who are struggling with mental health and addiction. When he is not practicing law, he is happiest with his wife, their son, and their miniature schnauzer — and every so often he escapes to West Texas to pretend he is more rugged than he actually is.
