A securities class action has been filed against Dick’s Sporting Goods, Inc. (DKS) on behalf of all persons and entities that purchased Dick’s common stock between September 8, 2025 through August 24, 2026. This case has been filed in the USDC – WDPA.

On August 24, 2026, Dick’s reported its second quarter 2026 financial results, revealing a net income of $315 million, or $3.50 per share, down from $381 million, or $4.71 per share, year-over-year. Additionally, Dick’s lowered its fiscal year 2026 sales guidance to $21.9 billion to $22.2 billion, from $22.1 billion to $22.4 billion. The Company saw a comparable sales decline of 3.6% for Foot Locker, which it acquired in a $2.4 billion deal in September 2025. Management stated that “Foot Locker is more dependent on launch and retro product. Not only were there fewer launches in the second quarter, but launches we did see performed below industry and our expectations. This had a meaningful impact on the results across the Foot Locker business.” On this news, Dick’s stock price declined $55.02, or 30.7%, to close at $124.31 on August 25, 2026.
