Scott+Scott was appointed co-lead counsel in a lawsuit filed on behalf of purchasers of PVC pipe. Plaintiffs allege that purchasers of PVC pipe have been charged supra-competitive prices for PVC pipe, resulting from defendants’ conspiracy to fix and maintain prices. Plaintiffs further allege that defendants used price reporting firm OPIS to exchange sensitive business information, monitor their competitors, and frustrate the dynamics of a competitive market.
