Judge Allows TransMedics Securities Class Action to Proceed, Denies Motion to Dismiss in Part
NEW YORK — Scott+Scott’s securities class action against the organ transplant technology provider TransMedics Group, Inc. is poised to move forward after Judge Leo T. Sorokin of the United States District Court District of Massachusetts denied in part Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss.
In its July 21, 2026 ruling, the Court allowed the case to proceed based on the Plaintiffs’ evidence that TransMedics made materially false and misleading statements regarding its "forced-bundling" policy, which pressured transplant centers to prioritize TransMedics technology over their own Organ Care System machines.
The case is: Jewik v. TransMedics Group, Inc., No. 1:25-cv-10385 (D. Mass.)
