Oliver Bartholomew is an associate in Scott+Scott’s London office, specialising in Competition Litigation and Class Actions.

Prior to joining Scott+Scott in August 2026, Mr. Bartholomew specialised in complex corporate and commercial disputes, acting for a range of UK and international clients across a variety of sectors.

Mr. Bartholomew is bilingual in English and French.

  • Acting for two technology companies in their defences to fraudulent misrepresentation and conspiracy proceedings.
  • Acting for a consortium of private equity fund clients defending specialist rectification proceedings.
  • Acting on behalf of a leading peer-to-peer energy exchange company in its litigation against various third-party intermediaries.
  • Acting for the UK’s leading commercial radio industry body in its judicial review of Ofcom’s decision not to require a Public Interest Test for the BBC’s launch of its online-only stream, Radio 1 Dance.
  • Acting for various survivors of the Hillsborough Stadium Disaster in their misfeasance claim against South Yorkshire Police and West Midlands Police.
  • Acting (in the pre-action stage until issuing) for c. 125 claimants in relation to damages claims arising out of a decision of the European Commission against various truck manufacturers.
  • Acting (pre-action stage only) for investors in their £1.3bn class action against HSBC over its role in facilitating the operation of the Eclipse film financing investment scheme.
