Amy Rawson works in Scott+Scott’s London office. Ms. Rawson specialises in competition damages litigation and works closely with other members of Scott+Scott’s Antitrust and Competition practices. Ms. Rawson has considerable experience acting for both defendants and claimants, including before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. Her experience spans from pre-action strategic advice to complex, high value, multi-jurisdictional litigation and she has particular experience acting for clients in collective proceedings.

Prior to working with Scott+Scott, Ms. Rawson spent four years in the London office of a claimant-side antitrust litigation boutique, specialising in representing corporate clients in antitrust recovery matters and private damages actions. Ms. Rawson began her career in the London office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, where she spent five years representing clients across a range of industries, including acting in leading English competition damages cases.

- Advising on a standalone abuse of dominance claim.
REPRESENTATIVE CASES AT PRIOR FIRM:
- Advising Mastercard in its defence of the opt-out collective action brought by Walter Merricks, one of the first collective actions under the UK’s collective action regime;
- Acting for Volvo/Renault Trucks in defence of the follow-on litigation, including in its defence of the collective actions brought against it, arising from the European Commission’s settlement infringement decision in relation to the Trucks cartel; and
- Acting for Infineon Technologies AG in follow-on damages litigation before the High Court arising from the European Commission’s infringement decision in relation to smart card chips.
