
Bio
Carlos Cuevas is an incoming attorney in Scott+Scott’s New York office where he focuses on complex antitrust litigation and class actions.
While at California Western School of Law, Mr. Cuevas earned Dean’s List honors, an Academic Excellence Award, and graduated in the top third of his class. He participated in the New Media Rights clinic, which provides pro-bono and low-cost legal services focused on intellectual property and privacy law, and served on the board of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.
Prior to law school, Mr. Cuevas worked in litigation support roles in Portland, Oregon, assisting with employment law matters at a management-side labor and employment firm, and juvenile delinquency matters at a public defender’s office.
Prior to joining Scott+Scott, Mr. Cuevas gained class action litigation experience at another leading plaintiffs’ firm, where he worked on securities and antitrust class actions. Mr. Cuevas is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent. Outside of the office, Mr. Cuevas enjoys cheering on the University of Oregon football teams, spending time outdoors, and reading.
