BIO:
Darrin S. Weiss is an attorney in Scott+Scott’s San Diego office and focuses on complex antitrust and shareholder derivative litigation.
While in law school, Mr. Weiss participated in the LLS Scott Moot Court Competition, advancing to the semi-finals, and he was a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Robert M. Mallano at the California Court of Appeal. Prior to law school, Mr. Weiss double-majored in Emory’s Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology program, in addition to Psychology, where he completed an Honors Thesis investigating the effects of low corticosterone levels on hippocampal regulation of reward-related behavior in animal models.
Prior to joining Scott+Scott, Mr. Weiss gained second chair trial experience as a litigation associate and did freelance work as a contract attorney for various law firms. Mr. Weiss is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Outside of the office, Mr. Weiss serves on the Board of Directors, as President of the Hills of Dallas Homeowners Association and is the Commissioner of his fantasy baseball league. He enjoys playing baseball, tennis, golf, and the guitar.
