
Bio
Hannah Wright Jones is a partner in Scott+Scott’s London office.
She focuses on litigating high-value commercial, financial services, and consumer disputes. These are often multi-jurisdictional or class actions.
Prior to joining Scott+Scott, Ms. Wright Jones was the head of the London office of KP Law Limited where she represented large groups of clients in consumer rights and financial services claims, including acting for 140,000 victims following the Nox emissions scandal. Ms. Wright Jones was also previously Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld LLP where she focused on financial services (including shareholder) disputes.
Ms. Wright Jones has been a committee member of the Collective Redress Lawyers Association (CORLA) since 2024.
She has been recognized as being amongst Lawdragon’s 500 leading Global Plaintiff Lawyers (2025-2026).

Representative Cases
- Acting for over 140,000 claimants in proceedings against various vehicle manufacturers for claims in deceit, breach of contract and breach of consumer protection laws arising out of the NOx emissions scandal. Acting as lead solicitor in the Vauxhall NOx Litigation and successfully applying for a Group Litigation Order as part of the steering committee of Claimant firms in the Mercedes NOx Litigation.
- Acting for a group of consumer clients against a leading cryptocurrency trading platform claiming damages for breaches of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
- Acting for a group of commodities traders in claims against the London Metal Exchange arising out of the exchange’s decision to cancel nickel futures contract trades in March 2022.
- Acting for shareholders in an unfair prejudice petition in the Hong Kong High Court against the Bank of East Asia and its board of directors.
