Bio

Paige Alderson-Smith is a Partner in the Firm’s Delaware office.  She focuses her practice on complex and mass tort matters.

Prior to joining Scott+Scott, Ms. Alderson-Smith was Senior Counsel at a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ firm where she represented thousands of injured individuals and families in coordinated litigations against major pharmaceutical and medical device companies.  Her advocacy and efforts led to significant client recoveries, including over $1.5 billion in compensation to women suffering severe injuries from a permanent birth control device.

While attending Villanova University School of Law, Ms. Alderson-Smith served in the Health Law Clinic where she advocated for low-income clients in the Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid system.  Upon graduation, Ms. Alderson-Smith served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable William C. Carpenter, Jr. in the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Superior Court of Delaware.
