Robert McDonnell

Bio

Robert McDonnell is an Associate in Scott+Scott’s London office, where he specialises in competition litigation.  Before joining Scott+Scott, Mr. McDonnell worked in the competition/antitrust department of a boutique London law firm, focusing on damages claims in the technology sector, competition policy, and submissions to regulators across the UK, EU, and United States.  Alongside his competition work, he has been involved in high‑profile commercial litigation and international arbitration matters.

Prior to entering legal practice, Robert worked as a regulatory consultant in Brussels, advising on EU and UK medical device and cosmetics regulation.

Robert is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and the Republic of Ireland.  He holds a B.A. (Hons.) from University College Cork and a Master of Common Law from University College Dublin.  He is a fluent Irish (Gaeilge) speaker and has a professional working proficiency in French.
