On March 12, 2026, Wolfpack Research published a short report alleging that the counterparty to B&W’s contract to supply boilers for a $2.4 billion power generation contract is linked to BRC Group Holdings, B&W’s largest shareholder, and that “the ultimate purpose of this deal may be to provide exit liquidity for [BRC Group]”.
Following publication of the Wolfpack report, B&W’s stock price fell sharply, damaging investors.
