ALYSSA SCHNEIDER


Alyssa Schneider is an attorney in the Firm’s San Diego office and focuses on global antitrust + competition, class actions, and securities litigation.

Ms. Schneider acts on behalf of American renters in In re RealPage, Inc., Rental Software Antitrust Litig. (II)MDL No. 3071 (M.D. Tenn.) where Scott+Scott serves as co-lead counsel. She also has been active in class actions, representing plaintiffs in the privacy case of Lopez, et al. v. Apple Inc, No. 4:19-cv-04577-JSW (N.D. CA San Jose). With securities litigation, she has acted on behalf of pension earners in Denis J. Conlon, et al. v. The Northern Trust Company, et al., No. 1:21-cv-02940 (N.D. ILL Eastern).

Ms. Schneider dedicates pro bono services in estate and elder planning and participates in advocacy trainings with civil rights organizations.  She has been a passionate volunteer for the arts, studying Holocaust Art Restitution in law school and thereafter, providing pro bono nonprofit guidance to small and large art institutions and being a member and volunteer for national nonprofit arts organizations.  She further maintains as a Certified Advocate for The Climate Reality Project, dedicated to expanding environmental law for combatting climate change.

Prior to joining Scott+Scott, Ms. Schneider practiced in the electronic discovery arena for high profile clients and government investigations.  She was also a licensed educator, with a focus on Special Education and English as a Second Language.  She still serves as a Compliance Inspector for the local county Board of Elections, in accordance with the DOJ.

Outside of the office, Ms. Schneider is an avid exerciser, a proponent of self-care, and enjoys listening to music, reading masterpiece literature and autobiographies, and watching classic films.
