Bio

Hannelore Vanderveen is an Associate in the Firm’s Amsterdam office. She specializes in private enforcement of competition law, class actions and corporate litigation. Her work focuses on cross-border cartel damage claims and collective actions before the Dutch courts.

Ms. Vanderveen is admitted to the Dutch bar and has a registered specialization in competition law (mededingingsrecht). On the basis of the registration it is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

Highlights

  • Hannelore Vanderveen joined Scott + Scott after working more than three years at Allen & Overy, where she specialized in private enforcement of competition law, administrative law, sector-specific regulation and merger control proceedings before the Dutch Competition Authority and the European Commission.
  • During her studies in Groningen, Paris and Leiden, Hannelore did various internships at law firms in Amsterdam and The Hague.
