Peter Cherepanov


BIO:

Mr. Cherepanov is an attorney in the Firm’s Connecticut office where he represents clients in antitrust and general commercial litigation in federal and state courts.  In the antitrust space, Mr. Cherepanov focuses on the intersection of antitrust and technology.  He is currently part of the Scott+Scott teams acting in:

  • In re RealPage, Inc., Rental Software Antitrust Litigation (No. II), No. 3:23-md-03071 (M.D. Tenn.) (alleging price-fixing amongst developer of AI/algorithmic pricing software and property managers in the multifamily rental housing markets); and
  • Mirage Wine + Spirits, Inc. v. Apple Inc. et al., No. 3:23-cv-3942 (RJD) (S.D. Ill.) (Merchants alleging that Apple’s agreement with Via and Mastercard to lock-out competing payment schemes from Apple Pay is anticompetitive).

Outside of antitrust, Mr. Cherepanov is also active in other general commercial litigation including:

  • Two Roads Shared Trust v. Wells Fargo Securities (N.Y. Sup. Ct.) (alleging breach of Futures Clearing Merchant (FCM) contract); and
  • Two Roads Shared Trust v. Wedbush Securities, Inc., Case No. 2023L009473 (Cook Cnty. Super. Ct. Ill.) (alleging breach of commodities give-up agreement).
