Mr. Huffman is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Governance and Shareholder Rights Practice Group.
A battle-tested litigator with extensive trial experience, Mr. Huffman has secured landmark victories in high-stakes shareholder class and derivative actions. As co-lead counsel in In re Facebook, Inc. S’holder Litig., Mr. Huffman took on Mark Zuckerberg, Sheryl Sandberg, Peter Thiel, and other Facebook fiduciaries on claims arising from the Cambridge Analytica scandal. This case was the first ever to take a Caremark claim to trial, with Mr. Huffman and his colleagues achieving a historic mid-trial settlement of $190 million. As a member of the lead counsel group and trial team in In re Dole Food Co., Inc. S’holder Litig., Mr. Huffman helped deliver a post-trial damages award of over $148 million in damages, making it the largest monetary judgment ever levied against a corporate director in the history of the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Huffman is actively involved in legal education and regularly teaches courses and lectures on shareholder litigation and investor rights at several leading universities.
