BIO:

Michael is a partner in the Firm’s Berlin office and is a passionate dispute resolution specialist. He has extensive experience with resolving large-scale domestic and international commercial disputes, including mass proceedings, and with developing and implementing domestic and cross-border dispute resolution strategies. Michael has been a Specialist Lawyer for Banking and Capital Markets Law (Fachanwalt für Bank- und Kapitalmarktrecht) under the German professional rules since 2017. In addition to his professional engagement, he lectures on consumer protection under German banking law, and serves as team leader and advisor for students rendering pro bono advice for consumers at the Humboldt University’s Humboldt Consumer Law Clinic.

Michael represents clients of various industries before state courts and arbitration tribunals. In addition to his role as party counsel, Michael acts as an arbitrator.
