David Scott to Speak at Global Class Actions Symposium

We are pleased to announce that Managing Partner David Scott will be speaking at the Global Class Action Forum 2025 held by GLG Global Legal Group in London November 18 through 19. Mr. Scott, along with Baker McKenzie Partner David Gadsden and Clifford Chance Partner Samantha Ward, will weigh in on the mainstay of class actions in several jurisdictions, especially in the UK. They will also discuss how competition claims deliver access to justice for consumers as well as for smaller companies faced with the market dominance of their larger competitors.

Agreement Secured with Greystar in Rental Pricing Case

The law firms of Scott+Scott, Robins Kaplan, and Hausfeld have reached an agreement in principle with Greystar Management Services, LLC (“Greystar”) not to use confidential non-public competitor data in multifamily rental pricing, along with meaningful monetary relief for tenants across the country. The settlement, reached simultaneously with the U.S. Department of Justice, marks a significant step toward resolving claims brought by renters in a multidistrict litigation pending in federal court.
